Guitarist CLINT LOWERY Leaves KORN Tour

DARK NEW DAY/ex-SEVENDUST guitarist Clint Lowery, who has spent most of this year fulfilling his touring duties with KORN, has been forced to leave KORN's current "Bi#%h! We Have A Problem" tour "due to a family emergency." "Everything's fine — just had to get home," Lowery writes on his MySpace page. "Hated to leave. Love all the KORN guys and had a blast with them."

According to a posting on the KORN fan site Kornspace, Lowery has been replaced on the trek by Shane Gibson, who was also been tapped by KORN frontman Jonathan Davis to accompany him on his upcoming solo acoustic tour.

KORN's video for the song "Hold On" has been released and can be viewed below.

Jonathan Davis told The Pulse of Radio that "Hold On" is an especially personal track for him and was one of several inspired by the blood infection that nearly killed him last year. "'Hold On''s another one about the blood thing," he said. "It was like a song of empowerment. It's for people out there dealing with any kind of disease or fucked-up relationship or anything. It's about just hanging in there. I wanted to write a song that people could listen to it and it would give 'em hope."

KORN's latest album arrived on July 31 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard album chart.
